Mr. Harpreet Singh

Mr. Harpreet Singh, is a retired IAS,  currently serving as Director General for Gyankhand, A Unit of Guru Nanak Mission. Mr Singh has served the HRD – Public Service Commission, State Training Institute before retirement. Joining IAS in 1991, he served the United AP Cadre until 2014, and the Telangana Cadre since then. Mr. Singh has undertaken many significant roles in his career as Sub Collector, Joint Collector, Collector in District Administration, Head of Department for Labour, Civil Supplies, IT, Revenue Departments, CEO of PSUs at AP Mineral Development & Dairy Development and General Administration & Vigilance at the Governor’s office.

He also worked in the private sector for 6 years with reputed MNCs and the Tata Group.

Mr. Harpreet Singh completed his B-Tech form IIT Mumbai and PGDM from IIM Kolkata. He believes in “Sarbat da Bhala” (Welfare for All). He is skilled at integrating resources (human and material) with systems (procedures and technology) to deliver outcomes maximizing public welfare.
