Inauguration of Veni Rao Foundation Surgical Center

Veni Rao Foundation is pleased to have sponsored the first floor of a new eye center opened by L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, at its Gullapalli Pratibha Rao Campus in Kismatpur near Himayat Sagar. The first floor comprises a state-of-the-art surgical center with 3 operation theatres, all with the advanced equipment required for comprehensive eye surgeries. The center was inaugurated by Hon’ble Sri T Harish Rao, Minister of Finance, Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Government of Telangana on 12 May 2022.  Veni Rao Foundation has contributed a sum of 150 lac for the construction of the surgical complex and expect a total of 3000 surgeries to be conducted in the first 3 years, of which 50% of the surgeries will be conducted for free
