Awareness Webinar on ‘Menstrual Health Management’

With an objective to encourage adolescent girls to manage periods hygienically confidently and with dignity, Veni Rao Foundation alongside Teach for India conducted an awareness webinar ‘Menstrual Health Management’ for the girl students of grade 8 to 10 from New Madhu School, Secunderabad on March 9, Sunday. The session was extremely interactive with tons of questions answered by the counselor Ms. Uma. By the top of the session, the girls were beyond the myths and facts revolving around menstruation, and therefore the worried and embarrassed girls had transformed into more confident & informed individuals.
