Provision of bedsheets to the Desire Society

According to the Health Ministry of India, nearly 70000 children are living with HIV/AIDS and 70% of these children lose their parents to the disease. Desire Society, a non-profit voluntary organization, functions for the welfare of such children by providing them Institutional Care Homes (ICH).

The ICH in Hyderabad caters to 75 HIV positive children and runs completely on donations. The ICH is in constant need of various resources. The Veni Rao Foundation donated bedsheets to the Desire Society, Bollaram, Hyderabad on 7th February 2019, as a small contribution towards the well being of the HIV affected children.
