Summer Camp at the Adopted Government Schools

Veni Rao Foundation, an initiative undertaken by CHIREC, conducted a week-long summer camp in three adopted government schools with the intention of offering fun, constructive extra-curricular activities for students. The camp was held from April 15 to 20, 2019 at Mandal Parishad Primary schools and Zila Parishad High schools. Over 170 students from primary and 100 students from Secondary school participated in the camp.

The camp quickly grew popular at the schools as they observed an increase in the number of students during the week. The students actively participated in various activities including pottery & clay modeling, art & craft, culinary class, painting, computer, yoga, etc. Snacks and beverages were provided to them every day. The camp concluded with an exhibition to showcase the creativity and work of all the students.
